    Family run restaurant with outdoor picnic style tables (great in the summer). Many items to choose from on the menu. Very filling and seasoned well. Great sangria (and I really enjoy a good sangria)! The restaurant is located in a strip mall tucked way in the corner, go ahead and try this place!

    La Playita was OK. It's in a convenient location, especially if you live in Almaden and the staff was friendly. The food wasn't as bold and spicy as I'd expect from Mexican food. I had the Chili Colorado and the sauce was more like gravy than other Chili Colorado I've had. The salsa was fresh but unspectacular. There are a couple of other Mexican places in the area that have better food and great salsa.

    A fantastic home cooking experience. The owner greeted us as soon and we entered and he was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. If you’re in the area, I’d high recommend a stop!

    This was the perfect spot to calm our craving for Mexican food. We enjoyed our lunch at a table outside, which was nice. The service was quick and accurate and we were served with a smile. I’d definitely go back!

    Very comfy place. I like that it was not too spicy. Enchiladas were so good.
